About Us

Since the advent of the first solid-state chip, sophisticated solid-state control solutions have been integral to manufacturing, water treatment, wastewater management, and similar industrial sectors. As computer processing power increased, a limited number of national firms began offering electronic security control and monitoring systems to jails and prisons. However, these early solutions were invariably proprietary, effectively locking clients into a single vendor for the lifecycle of their security infrastructure. Moreover, system installation was typically outsourced, requiring general contractors or owners to separately engage local electricians and technicians.
Three decades ago, ESITECH was founded to introduce a fundamentally different approach to the correctional facility market. We pioneered the use of commercially available, off-the-shelf software and hardware to design and program non-proprietary electronic security control solutions, specifically tailored for detention facility integration and monitoring. Our engineers meticulously custom-design and program each control solution, with a strong emphasis on simplifying the installation process. Following rigorous in-house testing, our own skilled technicians and electricians perform the complete system installation in the field. In fact, our very name, ESITECH, is an acronym reflecting this core philosophy: Engineered Systems and Installation TECHnologies.: Engineered Systems and Installation TECHnologies, or simply ESITECH.

Today, ESITECH continues to leverage cutting-edge software, equipment, programming methodologies, and installation techniques to deliver fully integrated and automated electronic security control solutions with robust redundancy features.

Non-proprietary

We leverage premium, industry-leading equipment. Our software platform is AVEVA Intouch (Wonderware), the globally dominant industrial control solution trusted by major corporations like DuPont, Philip Morris, and Firestone. Furthermore, our open system architecture allows clients the flexibility to engage other qualified firms for maintenance or modifications, unlike proprietary alternatives.

Systems Integration

Systems integration is the strategic process of unifying disparate systems to function as a cohesive whole. This interconnectedness enables seamless data exchange and coordinated actions, transforming individual components into a powerful, unified capability.
